ABOUT SARAH

Sarah Piper

Official Bio

Sarah Piper is a witchy, Tarot-card-slinging paranormal romance and urban fantasy author. Through her signature brew of dark magic, heart-pounding suspense, and steamy romance, Sarah promises a sexy, supernatural escape into a world where the magic is real, the monsters are sinfully hot, and the witches always get their magically-ever-afters.

Readers have dubbed her work “super sexy,” “imaginative and original,” “off-the-walls good,” and “delightfully wicked in the best ways,” a quote Sarah hopes will appear on her tombstone.

Sarah lives in New York with her husband, where she spends her days sleeping like a vampire and her nights writing books, casting spells, gazing at the moon, playing with her ever-expanding collection of Tarot cards, and obsessing over the best way to brew a cup of tea.

You can find her online at SarahPiperBooks.com, on Patreon at patreon.com/sarahpiper, and in her Facebook readers group at Sarah Piper's Sassy Witches! 10 RANDOM THINGS YOU SHOULD PROBABLY KNOW IF WE’RE GONNA BE FRIENDS (WHICH WE TOTALLY ARE)

  1. Tarot is my absolute thing. I learned to read the cards for book research back in 2007 and fell in love with them. Now I’ve got way too many decks, I see Tarot symbols in everything, and I can’t seem to write a book without the cards popping up in the storyline! (Tarot Academy? Yeah, that series was kind of no-brainer for me!)

  2. Colored pens are the way to my heart, but fair warning: I’m a fickle lover. I’ve tried hundreds of them and I’m still searching for the perfect writing instrument.

  3. I am obsessed with tea. I used to be a black coffee, 4-cups-a-day, ride-or-die kinda girl (that’s the former New Yorker in me), but one day I wasn’t feeling it and grabbed some tea instead. I haven’t looked back since! Loose-leaf is my favorite, and I’m constantly experimenting with new blends, spices, herbs and the best way to brew the perfect cup. My love for tea made its way into Tarot Academy, where the main character owns a tea shop called Kettle Black.

  4. I’ve never met a banana or cucumber I couldn’t turn into an innuendo.

  5. I’m a true night owl—none of this “oh I was up super late last night, till like 1 am!” No, my friend. 1 am is amateur hour in this house. More often than not, I’m still awake to see the sun rise. Fortunately my husband is the same way, or we’d probably never see each other.

  6. If I have to put on a bra or pants more than once a week, I start to seriously question my life choices.

  7. I can’t walk along a beach or mountain trail without picking up rocks. They call to me! Now I have a huge rock collection from all over the country. The last time we moved, I had to leave some behind because they seriously wouldn’t fit in the car.

  8. I collect pigs too. Not real pigs, but little ones. I have marginally fewer pigs than I do rocks or Tarot decks, and subsequently wasn’t forced to leave any behind on our last move.

  9. Guacamole is life. Nachos are life, too. Luckily, these things pair well together and don’t take up room in the car because they pretty much only last for about five minutes in my presence. Nachos? Meet mouth. Say goodnight, nachos!

  10. When I was a kid, I wanted to be on the Flintstones. Like, literally on the show. That was my #lifegoals. I guess making up stories for a living is the next best thing! I hope you’ll check out my books and get a peek inside my crazy imagination!
